Smittens

I have been felting mitts headbands slippers and hats for many years ,made from 100%wool then felting in hot water to create dense warm products. Felted mitts are extremely warm and never lose their shape . For many years I made mitts from reclycled sweaters but find these felted mitts are warmer . I put a cuff and lining inside to finish them off

i also make denim tote bags denim aprons  and denim blankets from recycled materials or felted remnants and reclycled drapery and upholstery fabrics. I love using recycled products to reduce tossing into landfills. The tote bags are popular with the student crowd as I find they are recycle conscious.
