My name is Kristy Mair, maker and owner of Aeroma Candle Co. I graduated from the University of Guelph Bachelor of Commerce program in 2016. Shortly after, I decided to pursue work in the aviation field. In 2021, I began my career as a Commercial Pilot.
One year later, I lost my medical due to migraines and am currently unable to return to flying. Shortly after losing my medical, I went on my dream backpacking trip to Asia and was in a motorcycle accident. Returning home, unable to fly, and taking time to recover, I decided to start making candles from the comfort of my home and channel my passion for aviation in a new, fun, unexpected and exciting way!
Aeroma Candle Co. crafts premium quality, clean-burning, wooden wick candles prepared in small batches and hand-poured in Elora, Ontario.
We use coconut apricot wax which offers smooth, silky tops and premium qualities for a first-class burning experience. The wax is long-burning, clean-burning, paraben-free, phthalate-free, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, renewable, vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free and comes from highly sustainable sources.
We believe our health and the health of our environment are important - that's why we have spent time researching and selecting top-quality, clean ingredients to offer superior, health-conscious and environmentally-conscious products. We encourage recycling/upcycling of our jars and offer refilling of all our products. We make our best effort to prioritize sustainability and make the lowest environmental impact throughout the crafting and shipping of our products.
