Hi, my name is Tammy & I am the owner of plain Jane organics & essentials, an homage to my daughter Emma Jane. I have lived here in Guelph for almost 30 years and am proud to call this city home.
I sell handmade by me, all natural & organic self care products & crafts. Diagnosed with my 2nd brain tumour (non cancerous) & a long time sufferer of psoriasis, I started plain Jane organics so I can offer people affordable, natural & organic skin & self care products & treatments as opposed to chemical based & pharmaceutical ones that can be harmful to one's health. My products are beeswax & honey based along with my infused by me organic oils, natural butters & essential oils. My beeswax & honey are locally sourced from my husband's good friend in Woodstock who is an apiarist. My product is packaged in recyclable and/or reuseable packaging as our impact on the environment matters.
I also love crafting, I handmake & decorate beeswax candles, honey jars & other items that spark from my imagination.
I started my home based business four years ago, I sell at markets & fairs locally & around southwestern Ontario as well as online. My goal again this year is to continue to keep it local here in Guelph & surrounding areas where I have proudly established my roots and developed wonderful relationships with my community.
